Roundway Farm B & B ~ DirectionsDevizes lies in the centre of Wiltshire. Roads radiate in most directions. Since Roundway Farm is just outside Devizes on the East side, if you are coming from the South or West or the Andover road, you must come into the town (or skirt it) and then take the following from Devizes directions. If coming from the North or East via the M4, you do not need to go into the town and you should follow the appropriate from M4 directions. From Devizes
Leave Devizes on the A361 (direction Marlborough/Swindon).
After passing the Crammer pond on your right you pass St. James Church (also on your right) and fork left at mini roundabout.
Cross bridge over canal then past police H.Q. (about 250 metres after bridge)
TAKE SECOND LEFT after police H.Q. past building site on left and BEFORE the roundabout. There is a Stone warehouse on the
corner. This is "Folly Road" and you will pass a used car lot then a
development of new houses on your left before the road narrows to a lane. * Follow the lane into Roundway Village (about 3/4 mile from main road). As you enter village there are some newish (1960s) houses on left and about 200 metres after entering village there is a sharp LEFT HAND BEND (red telephone kiosk and post box on your right). About 150 metres further on there is a sharp RIGHT HAND BEND (thatched cottage on left behind hedge) - follow road About 150 metres further on, (the road starts to go down hill), there is a very sharp LEFT HAND BEND. Ahead is a 5 bar gate into field. DO NOT GO ROUND THIS CORNER. Our drive is ON THE RIGHT. "Roundway Farm" sign (and a large rock) just up the drive. Go straight up drive and turn right at the top where you will see the main house. Park outside stables on your right - on the cobbles. From M4Leave M4 at the Hungerford junction (jct.14) - do not be tempted to take the Marlborough/jct.15 exit). Follow the A4 from Hungerford to Marlborough - through Marlborough town centre and carry on towards Calne/Devizes. At Beckhampton (6 miles from Marlborough) there is a roundabout - take FIRST exit (direction Devizes). After 6 miles you will meet a short piece of dual-carriageway - up hill and down towards Devizes. At the bottom there is the first of 3 roundabouts - follow road towards Devizes town centre across each of these roundabouts.
